Gentile Air Force Station was a U.S. Air Force facility in Kettering, Ohio, that closed in 1997. It was named for World War II fighter ace Don Gentile, killed on January 28, 1951, when he crashed in a Lockheed T-33 trainer at Forestville, Maryland.
It was the site of the Defense Electronics Supply Center (which has since moved to Defense Supply Center, Columbus) and its Defense Automatic Addressing System Center. In 1994, Gentile AFS became a Defense Finance and Accounting Service Center facility for the Air Force. After Gentile's closure, the town of Kettering converted the base property into Kettering Business Park.
Gentile AFS had no runway, which is typical for U.S. Air Force stations, in contrast to Air Force bases.
